Title: Little Me
Medium: 6b Pencil and Blender
Note: This is actually gray, black and white if I used the flash on the camera it made it reflect back and have a big white spot in the middle so this is what we get but I like it this way!
I actually think this turned out better then I thought it would… Still not my favorite I have done but it looks really good for a first time self portrait of a younger picture! :D I’m proud of it and can’t wait to show it off! I’m so ready for our next project though, watercolor which should be interesting cause I’m not the best at watercolor! This one wore me out! It actually had to look like little me!
Title: Family Piano
Medium: Perspective Pencil Shading
This turned out really good!! I wanted to take a picture of it and post it on here before it got put up on display up in the school, but after having struggled with the one point perspective part of it and getting the keys right I loved it!! I’m still working on the whole push your darks but the drawing is actually much darker then it is in the picture.
Title: Tree House
Medium: Clay
I love the way this turned out!!! It is my favorite! It looks so good and it is so detailed! There are squirrels and a tire swing and a sign saying Beware of Chippies and none of the project was glazed using actually glaze besides the tire swing. The tree and the actually house on top of it was stained and the grass was watercolor and then the squirrels where matte paints.
Title: Vortex Swirl
Medium: Pencil
This was our technique drawing for Advanced Art, putting into use the different techniques and using powered graphite which I didn’t like at all… but it turned out pretty good.
Medium: Monoprinting
In the past I’ve done linoleum prints and like it but mono-printing outshines that by a landslide!! I love how nothing ever turns out the same, each one is unique and can’t be replicated exactly. When turning the wheel for running it through the press, I’ve got two words WHIP IT! but keep your head back…
Title: Cat Baby
Medium: Clay
This is probably one of my worst projects, I do not like how it turned out… at all it looks like someone is torturing the poor thing… But it was my first attempt at a garden mask, so for a first attempt its okay?
Title: Elephant for A dollar
Medium: A dollar bill and paperclip
My mom made this so I can’t claim credit for it but I put it on here as joke sort of, we watched a video in art class the other day about origami and all that can be done with it and there are so many careers nowadays!
Title: Yummy Strawberry Shortcake!
Medium: Shortcake, strawberries, and whip cream!!
Hungry? Good!
I was just messing with the different settings on the camera and got this awesome yummy looking shot before my sister devoured it.
Title: Hide and Go Sea
Medium: Clay
This project requirement was to create a jar either that was in the animal or had the animal on it. I choose to do a clown fish type of fish in sea anemone on top with sea stars and shells on the outside.
